Yes, for parcels with a value of up to $800, no customs duties are charged. If the value of the parcel exceeds this amount, customs duties and taxes may apply, varying depending on the value and contents of the parcel.
Taxes and customs duties apply if the value of the parcel is above $800. For gifts, there is a limit of $100 per recipient, below which no customs duties are charged. However, for goods considered commercial shipments, customs duties and taxes may apply even for lower values.
Make sure the parcel is securely and stably packed to avoid damage during transport. Especially for fragile or liquid items, it is important to protect them well. If desired, we can handle the proper packaging of your goods for you.
Fresh food and perishable goods are not allowed unless they have been approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration).
